GEOENVIRONMENTAL INVESTIGATIONS
We are able to take your project from start to finish, tailor-made you the project needs and requirements and are able to incorporate these into a project specific package.
Whether you are a fellow Consultant needing a helping hand, self builder, building contractor or have been told you need an investigation to satisfy local authority, developer, engineers needs we will be able to help.
Desk Study assessments at Tier 1 are essential to enabling us to tailor your contaminated investigation or as a stand alone Land Quality Assessment (LQA), along with the information you provide, enabling a lower cost investigation nevertheless still providing you with all the necessary detail, information and advice you need to take your project forward. Unless a previous desk study has been undertaken (we will require a copy of the study prior to quote/estimate in order that we are happy to proceed) a desk study will be required. There maybe exceptional circumstances where this may be waived.
Site Investigations are intrusive and can be disruptive, the design of these investigations require understanding of the required outcomes including the requirements of local authority environmental health. All investigations comply with BDA guidelines, current British and European Standanrds.
We endeavour to minimise this disruption by designing the most appropriate investigation for the site and outcome required with the information available, instructed and provided. We have considerable experience in all the principal investigatory methods:
Post site site investigation monitoring for groundwater, landfill gas, coal gases, sampling of groundwater, surface water and borehole gas monitoring may also be required and advised upon prior to the investigations. These can also be standalone activities.
Geoenvironmental Advice enables the required outcomes to be achieved and can range from a simple Tier 1 Desk study assessment through to assessments for Tier 2 and Tier 3 intrusive investigations for soil and water.
All of our reports are produced to a professional and high standard, issued initially as a "draft" and upon completion as a "final" report. Additional report formats are available upon request.
