Without Us

 

With no energy from the earth, the lights would go out

With no fertilisers, there’d be less crops for us to eat

With no strategic metals we’d have no tablets, TV's  or mobile phones

With no iron, there’d be no trains, planes or automobiles

 

There’d be nothing to build our cities

No one to plan our buildings foundations

Stabilise our slopes

No one to make sure our gardens’ safe

There’d be no safe water to drink

 

No one to stop our houses from flooding

No one to help us build our roads and railways

No one to educate our children about our planets’ past and its’ future

No one to help solve crimes

 

No one to help save us energy and money,

And develop clean renewable energy

No one to build a safe, clean, renewable and sustainable future

​
